Rock Service Station
Built along side the rock bunkhouses during the 1930s, the service station allowed motorist to an opportunity to rest and refuel before continuing their journey down SR 26 which, at the time, passed through LaCrosse.
A fire in the attic after a remodel rendered the building useless and now it sits with the west wall leaning inward as if it might collapse at any moment.
LCP is currently working with an architect who specializes in building preservation to determine the best way to renovate the building.
